Our Facility

Choosing a funeral home can be an overwhelming decision, especially at an emotional time. That’s why it is important to know that there really is a difference. Halley-Olsen-Murphy Memorial Chapels have been under the management of the Halley family since 1966 and have been in existence for over 40 years. Today, we continue to provide families with quality, compassionate care. The funeral arrangers at Halley-Olsen-Murphy offer families strength and comfort during a difficult time by providing options to the families they serve.
At Halley-Olsen-Murphy we offer complete mortuary services including a full range of cremation options. We own and operate our crematory facility, allowing us to maintain complete control of the process. Families can be assured that they will receive personalized, individual attention when making arrangements with Halley-Olsen-Murphy. Our professional and caring staff members understand that the loss of a loved one is a very personal experience, and are here to ensure that all your needs are met. At Halley-Olsen-Murphy Memorial Chapel, we believe that every life is unique, and every funeral should be too. We celebrate life. And for those who like to plan ahead, we offer The Simplicity Plan® prearrangement program—an easy way to handle an important responsibility.
The building that houses the Halley-Olsen-Murphy Memorial Chapel in Lancaster, California, was built in the early 1930s as a church. In 1958, the building was opened as a mortuary, and the Halley family acquired the business in 1966. Halley-Olsen-Murphy encompasses approximately 7000 square feet and includes two arrangement rooms, three visitation rooms and a comfortable chapel that can accommodate up to 150 guests. Parking is available to all visitors, and there is a ramp to facilitate the needs of the handicapped.
